Description
This Custom-designed 3D-printed spinner is specifically designed for a 2-blade APC 7×5-E propeller.
Its the smallest spinner we have – the “unfinished” dimensions are 21.5mm diameter and 21.5mm tall (about 7/8 of an inch). When sanded, the diameter will be about 20mm.
It’s designed with a 5mm shaft hole which is the same size as the small insert that comes with the APC propeller. Its possible to carefully enlarge the hole using a reamer if needed. The spinner is mounted on the motor shaft with a nut – its too small for a prop adapter.
Two of these spinners will work perfectly with Pat Tritle’s 42″ Dh89 Dragon Rapide – and will work well with other airplane models that use the same propeller. Pat’s kit is available from Manzano Laser Works HERE.

To install the spinner, first secure the propeller and spinner backplate on your motor shaft using a prop nut, then the cone simply snaps on – no additional hardware is needed! Please see the notes below.
Specifications for spinner & baseplate:
White PETG. 21.5mm diameter x 21.5mm tall. Sands to 20mm diameter.
Weight: about 2 gms total (2 pcs) – without the prop shown in the picture.
This Custom Spinner is sold as a set (one Cone and one Backplate). The propeller in the picture is NOT included. Sorry, Rabid Models does not sell this propeller. This spinner is for use ONLY with electric motors and propellers.
The plastic spinner parts are supplied unfinished but can be sanded smooth and can be painted with any plastic-compatible paint. Click here to see a video from Fun Scale Models that shows how to finish and install 3D-printed spinners. Sanding is optional – but painting is highly recommended because all plastics will deteriorate over time if exposed to sunlight. Glue is not needed!
