The Meteor was the first British combat jet, first flown in 1943. Our model was designed for two brushless motors with props mounted at the back.

The kit includes ONLY the foam parts needed to build this model. This kit is unusual as it has NO MANUAL and no instructions! But if you're built other Rabid Models planes this one is just as easy. We just never finished this kit. This is why its priced lower. We offer other model kits in this size that are priced at $27.50.

The model is not assembled, so the customer needs to supply glue, paint, and other hobby tools, servos, motors, and electronics in order to put it together. The prototype in the photo used paper "decals" and we will include the file for those so you can print your own decals. We'll also give you some free advice on how to put this plane together!

This is a very easy-flying plane since the wing area is fairly large. Its a simple design but it does have one slightly unusual aerodynamic quirk. Due to the fact that the stab is mounted fairly high on the tail, its possible to perform an unusual maneuver such as a "deep stall" where the plane will rear up on its tail - also called a "Cobra". If you look closely at the photo you'll see the nose was crunched - don't due a Cobra at low altitude!
