One bottle of black CA (Cyanoacrylate) glue.   B10000 type – this is thicker than the standard B4000

Contains 2oz (net weight) with pin-cap nozzle.  The pin cap helps seal the bottle after use.

Black CA is popular with speaker builders. CA glue cures to a hard acrylic plastic. The rubber-toughened type can handle higher temperatures compared with regular CA and can resist cracking due to vibration and shock.  It can be used with carbon-fiber and fiberglass as well.

The thicker the grade of CA, the longer it takes to cure.  CA glue dries very quickly when it is pressed between two objects. When its applied as a “bead” it can take much longer.  CA Activator (also called Kicker or Accelerator) can be used to set the glue, but it can take up to 24 hours to fully cure.   The activator can be used as a pre-treatment before gluing.  Activator comes in pump-spray bottles and in aerosol cans.
