44.5mm 3D-printed Spinner for the Fun Scale Models Ju87 STUKA

Description

This Custom 3D-printed 3-blade spinner is specifically designed for the “Fun Scale Models” Ju-87 STUKA Park-flyer as shown in the July 2023 edition of MODEL AVIATION magazine.  Its the correct shape and exact size for this model.  The Ju-87 is offered as a laser-cut short kit by Manzano Lazer works (click here)

The spinner is specifically designed for a 3-bladed 8 x 4.5 propeller (standard rotation) which is the recommended propeller for this model.  The propeller and prop adapter are available separately from Rabid Models. We also have additional parts (see below).

Please see the notes below. To install the spinner, first secure the propeller and spinner backplate on your motor shaft using a prop adapter (not included, available separately), then the cone simply snaps on – no additional hardware is needed!

The Ju87 Stuka R/C model was designed for a 24-gram, 1,700 Kv brushless motor spinning an 8 × 4.5 three-blade propeller.   The spinner+motor+prop+ESC are available as a custom package for your convenience!

Airplane not included!  This picture is Derek’s prototype with the spinner installed. Derek painted the spinner to match his model.  Here is a video of this model flying.

Specifications:

White PETG.    44.5mm diameter  (1.75 inches).  Weight: about 10 gms total (2 pcs).

This Custom Spinner is sold as a set (one Cone and one Backplate).   The propeller and prop adapter are NOT included.  This product is for use ONLY with electric motors and propellers. The spinner backplate has a 5mm centering hole which may need to be carefully drilled out to fit your prop adapter.   You may also need to drill out the center of your propeller (or thin it) to use the prop adapter.

The plastic spinner parts require little preparation but can be sanded smooth and should be painted using any plastic-compatible paint.  Click here to see a video from Fun Scale Models that shows how to finish and install 3D-printed spinners.  Painting is recommended because all plastics will deteriorate over time if exposed to sunlight.  Glue is not needed!
