Description
The “Power Pack” is a Spinner and brushless motor package specifically for these Fun Scale Models airplanes by Derek Micko: P-38, Do-335 Pfeil, FW-190, Macchi Folgore 202, JU-87 Stuka, P-40 Warhawk, P-63 Kingcobra, P-39 Airacobra, F4U Corsair, and HE-100. We also have one for Jeff Bosley’s A6M Zero. Laser-cut kits of these models are available from Manzano Model Works.
When you make your selection the pack will include the correct 3-bladed 3D-printed spinner for your model:
- 28.6mm for the Focke-Wulf FW-190 (with engine fan)
- 28.6mm for the A6M Zero
- 40mm for the P-39 Airacobra
- 40mm for the P-63 King Cobra (NOTE: this is a 4-blade spinner and the PROP IS NOT INCLUDED in the pkg)
- 41mm for the Macchi Folgore 202
- 42mm for the Do335 – includes front spinner and rear decorative cone
- 44.5mm for the Ju-87 Stuka
- 46mm for the P-40 Warhawk
- 47mm for the P-38 “Fork Tailed Devil” – two spinners and two props (Std and CR)
- Prop nut for the F4U Corsair – note, this package comes with a 9×7 prop which is attached with an O-ring propsaver (included).
- 55mm for the HE-100 (this includes a 9×7 prop)
The “Power Pack” also includes the following items along with the spinner:
- One 24-gm 1700kV Brushless Motor (popular name is the “Blue Monster”)
- One 12-amp ESC
- One set of bullet connectors (3 sets)
- One aluminum motor mount
- One medium-size aluminum prop adapter
- One 3-bladed 8 x 4.5 plastic propeller (not included with P-63 combo)
- NOTE: the P38 power pack is a TWIN motor set which includes TWO each of all the parts listed above.
Purchasing all of these items separately will cost more than buying them all separately, so this package will save a little money but it mainly about the convenience of having everything together.
For the “Fun Scale Models” planes the 1700kv motor/prop combination is designed to use a 2-cell Lipo pack (450mah suggested) – sorry, batteries not available from Rabid Models. We do have servos, a 6ch receiver, and other accessories including scale wheels, tires, and strut covers!
