Micro Servo Connector with setscrew

Description

This is a VERY small metal connector for attaching pushrods to the servo arm.  Perfect for small servos but will work on any servo.

Please note these special features:

• Small size – only 11mm tall (about 7/16″) with the screw all the way in.
• Uses a set screw instead of a regular screw, for security and lower profile
• For CF or music-wire pushrods from 1.5mm up to 1.8mm diameter (1/16 inch)
• Each one weighs less than 1 gram (0.75gm)

The setscrew allows you to easily adjust the length of the pushrod – no “Z bend” needed.  The connector is attached to the servo arm with a metal nut and there are two washers that must be installed (see the pictures for reference) – the washers allow the connector to rotate.  Note: you’ll need to ensure that the hole in the servo arm is enlarged just enough to allow the threads to move freely, so the connector can rotate.

After installation, put a small dab of removable glue on the nut. to make sure it doesn’t come off (Foam-Tac is perfect for this).

NOTE:  an “allen wrench” is not included with this. The size required is 1.5mm

This thing is SO tiny – its really hard to hold!  I strongly recommend you have a towel your workbench to help if this falls out of your hands!   Ask me why I know!!
