PLASTIC COWL for Rabid Models 29" Bearcat or 40" Tigercat

This PET plastic cowl is the correct size for our 29" Bearcat or 40" Tigercat models. We produce it by shrinking a 2L soda bottle around our own custom-made wooden form which we manufactured ourselves using a lathe (picture below). That's a lot of work for a plastic cowl - but it looks great compared to the original model which had a sour-cream cup. For best results we recommend painting the inside surface using a spray paint designed for RC car and helicopter bodies (paint for PVC plastic).

If you're ordering it for the Tigercat, you'll need to order two! In this picture you can see I also installed a picture of an R2800 engine. This isn't included but the file is included with the Tigercat kit documentation. We can email you the motor picture if you need it.
