5gm brushless motor and ESC

The 5-gm brushless motor (also called 1400) is an excellent little motor that is about 1/2 the size of our 10-gm motor. Use with 1S or 2S Lipo batteries. The 4500 is NOT for 3S. This motor is perfect for our 28" size models or other lightweight models. Quantities are limited.

Rotational speed:  16650rpm for 1S; 33300rpm for 2S

Thrust:  

- 1S with 6030 propeller: 62gm;

- 2S with 5030 propeller: 115gm;

- 2S with 4030 propeller: 100gm.

The propeller is not included, but we do offer some propellers for sale separately!

Package deal - 4500KV motor with the matching ESC: The package includes one 5gm brushless motor with aluminum motor mount, one 7-amp ESC, one O-ring propsaver, 2mm bullet connectors.  The 7amp ESC has a 5V BEC to power your receiver.  The ESC measures 23x13mm and weighs about 5gm. For 1S or 2s Lipo battery. For best results we strongly recommend using a removeable "threadlocker" compound on the tiny grub screws that hold the propsaver to the motor shaft and the motor to the mount.

You may also purchase the motor by itself if you wish!  The 2000KV motor can be used with a 3-cell battery.  We're switching to the 4500KV version.
