Description
This Custom 3D-printed spinner is specifically designed for a 2-blade APC 4.7×4.7 or 4.5×4.5 propeller and Speed-400 class motors. It is 24mm in diameter (just about 1″) and 29mm tall (1.125″)
It’s designed with a 5mm shaft hole which is the same size as the small insert that comes with the APC propeller. Its possible to carefully enlarge the hole using a reamer if needed. The spinner is mounted using a prop adapter (not included).

To install the spinner, first secure the propeller and spinner backplate on your motor shaft using a prop adapter, then the cone simply snaps on – no additional hardware is needed! Please see the notes below.

This Custom Spinner is sold as a set (one Cone and one Backplate). The propeller and prop adapter are NOT included. Rabid Models does sell the prop adapter. This spinner is for use ONLY with electric motors and propellers. The spinner backplate has a 5mm centering hole which may need to be carefully reamed out to fit your prop adapter.
If you need this spinner to be slightly larger or smaller to accommodate your model’s nose, let us know because its fairly easy to make that adjustment.
The plastic spinner parts are unfinished but can be sanded smooth and can be painted with any plastic-compatible paint. Sanding is optional – but painting is highly recommended because all plastics will deteriorate over time if exposed to sunlight. Glue is not needed!
