17gm 2000kv brushless motor

Our 17gm 1700kv brushless motor (also called the 2211) fits in the product line in between our 10gm and 24gm motors - its the motor we recommend for the "Regular Komet" kit that we sell. This motor can be used with 2S or 3S Lipo batteries and uses an 8x4 2-blade propeller.   Rated at 250gm thrust at 6 amps, 2mm motor shaft.

This item comes with the standard aluminum motor mount and 2mm bullet connectors. You'll need a suitable propeller, a prop adapter or O-ring propsaver is required (not included, sold separately), and a plywood firewall.  (note: the blue "stick mount" in the picture isn't included.) For best results we strongly recommend using a removeable "threadlocker" compound on the tiny grub screws that hold the motor to the mount. In most cases you'll also need a wood "firewall" (available separately).

As with all brushless motors, a brushless ESC is required (available separately). Current draw is around 6-7 amps. The direction of rotation can be reversed by switching any 2 of the 3 motor leads.
