Foam-Tac is a type of foam-safe contact cement that is designed specifically for foam. Manufactured by Beacon Adhesives.
It stays flexible after it dries, so it can be used to make hinges but it also works really well for general model construction. Its waterproof and can be used on balsa and carbon-fiber as well as foam, and has many other uses as well. Dries clear.
The large 2oz tube is best if you use a lot of glue. Foam-Tac is also available in smaller 1-oz and "mini" 5ml squeeze tubes which have small nozzles.
Shelf life was somewhat limited with the old 2-oz bottle - Beacon switched to making the product in a 2-oz squeeze tube which helps stop evaporation and makes it last much longer. The 2-oz tube doesn't have a nozzle! So we made a 3D-printed one. Here's a famous quote originally posted by TiredIronGRB View Post
