29" Bearcat Profile Model Kit

Well, not all of our kits are twin-engined! We really like the Bearcat.... The Tigercat's brother.  So it is part of our product line.

The fantastic Bearcat fighter is available in two sizes here- this is the larger one. We designed it to be used with our "Blue Wonder" 24gm motor with an 8x6 propeller. This model flies fairly fast and performs really well. As an experiment, this model was produced in black depron instead of our usual "BlueCore" foam. Depron is much harder to bend, but little bending is needed and the kit includes some CF wing spars for reinforcement.

The kit includes the foam parts needed to build this model, along with a fully detailed construction manual, paper decals you can print, and some accessories such as the pull-pull control system. The model is not assembled, so the customer needs to supply glue, paint, and other hobby tools, servos, motors, and electronics in order to complete it and get it ready for flying.

We offer a custom-made plastic cowl (not included with the kit, but it only costs $2.50 - CLICK HERE to see). We make this cowl by heat-shrinking a plastic soda bottle around a wooden form for a great scale look.

As an added experiment we also made a version from Dollar Tree Foam Board. (the designer's personal opinion is that DTF is difficult to paint and is heavier.) NOTE quantities are limited for these versions. Contact us for details, you can pick either one!
