3D-printed Micro Wheel-Retainers (4 pcs)

Very small RC aircraft models have small wheels - and if you are concerned about the way your aircraft looks, you probably dislike using relatively clunky and heavy brass wheel collars. (They're fine for larger wheels).

In concert with Derek Micko at Fun Scale models, Rabid Models offers these small 3D-printed wheel retainers for 1/16" wire. When installed they are similar to axle caps and they are the correct size to match our scale 3D-printed wheel hubs. The picture below shows the Fun Scale Models CORSAIR wheel (we offer the wheel hubs and tires separately). They also will work with our P-40 and P-38 wheels.

We also have a slightly thicker one as well (second picture)

The "low profile" PETG retainer is a very small circular piece, 6.5mm in diameter (about 1/4") and 1.7mm thick (just over 1/16"). Weight is 0.1gm each. Press onto the end of your 1/16" wire axle and secure with a dot of glue. The 1/16 wire is not included! The pencil and paper clip is for scale -not included!

Since this is such a very small item we recommend adding it to other items in your cart. Its probably not worth the postage to order this all by itself!
