These wheels and strut covers were designed for the 38.2" wingspan Nakajima B5N-2 "Kate" torpedo bomber as built by "St.Martin" on RCGroups from the Diels kit. Link to the Build Thread Here.
The wheels are 54mm in diameter (about 2 1/8") and 15mm wide (about 0.6") and they have a realistic grooved tread. The decorative strut covers go over the landing gear wire (either 1/16 or 1/32) to give it a better look. The strut is a single-yoke type which closely mimics the full-size design.
PARTS SPECIFICATIONS:
BLACK 54x15mm TIRE: black flexible TPU with grooved tread detail.
FLAT WHEEL HUB: white PETG. 34.5mm diameter (1.35") -- 2 hub halves make the wheel hub - order one set for each tire. Glue onto the tire. Drill out the starter holes for your axle. The hubs and struts are not painted.
Weight: about 16 gms for one complete tire & hub assembly (0.56oz)
The decorative struts weigh 3.5gms each. NOTE: The struts come in a right-hand and left-hand version (the "scissors" face forward). The strut is 80mm long from the axle to the top. The struts require epoxy for assembly.
3D-printed parts are unpainted but require very little preparation - they can be painted with any plastic-compatible paint. Painting is recommended because all plastics will deteriorate over time if exposed to sunlight.
