Beacon FOAM-FINISH compound - 8oz jar

FOAM-FINISH by BEACON is a lightweight and flexible compound specifically designed for smoothing bumpy or porous foam and other rough surfaces. It can be applied with a spatula or the edge of a credit card, can be smoothed (or thinned) with water, and dries quickly.

The result (when dry) is a smooth surface with a "skin" finish. The product remains flexible enough to avoid cracking which is exactly why it works so well with flexible foams like EPP and EPO. Its not easy to sand when dry, but it can be sanded.

FOAM FINISH has a "goopy" consistency. Mix very well with a spoon before use, as this product can settle in storage. If its been sitting a while, is a metal spoon and stir it thoroughly until its is a smooth consistency. If it seems a little dried out, you can add a very small amount of water.

Foam-finish can be used with lightweight fibreglass cloth to provide extra reinforcement.

We also offer Beacon FOAM FILLER paste which is easily sandable, for filling dents and holes. Its also flexible but it doesn't have the smooth "skin".
