CP Moyen manufactures #WS-1044, its a really interesting product for coating paper speaker cones. Apply it and the result is a smooth and glossy black finish that is water-resistant and UV-resistant, making it ideal for building outdoor speakers.
It's a slightly brown thick jelly-like product, but turns shiny black when dry. Apply with a brush or roller, dries quickly. This product is water-soluble when wet, making cleanup very easy. Its an acrylic resin which is also an effective cement for many materials - and its foam-safe.
Please pick the size you need! 50 sq. inches per ounce - to give you an idea of what that means, 2 ounces will cover about one 8-inch speaker cone. 4 ounces will treat approximately three 6.5" cones.
