We have a round 3D-printed sanding tool for preparing balsa leading and trailing edges of aileron and elevators, but this PARABOLIC version can make a more refined aerodynamic shape.
The difference is subtle - please check the pictures!
The sides of the tool are flat which provide a good grip and can be handy for other small jobs. This tool is meant for smaller-size balsa parts, such as 3/32, 1/8, 3/16 thicknesses. It can also work on sandable foam!

Fits in your hand like a toothbrush!
The tools come with 150-grit sandpaper attached. Note: the color of the paper may vary depending on the stock that's used. You can remove the paper if needed by applying foam-safe CA activator to dissolve the glue. New sandpaper can be attached using a spray contact cement such as 3M brand "77".
The length of the paper is about 2 1/3 inches (6cm) - these tools are small (about 4 inches long including the handle) and are purposely intended for small jobs and precision work. The sandpaper wraps around the sides providing additional flat sanding surfaces for other uses.
Here is a 16-minute video which demonstrates how these tools are used in detail!
This video shows our new Centerline Marker/Hinge slotter in conjunction with the sanders!
