Description
The ESC controls the brushless motor using the R/C radio’s throttle function, and it also provides 5V power for the R/C receiver and servos. In most cases no programming is required.
In other listings, you’ll see we offer several small ESCs in the 6-15 amp range. These larger ones may be considered “closeout” items – at a bargain price. These are larger and heavier than the smaller ones and most have a 2-amp BEC. (The picture shows a smaller 10-amp ESC)
These ESCs may or may not have bullet connectors included (see the description) and the power wires require a connector for the battery, not included.
The 15-amp BGGU ESC can be programmed with features such as brake, soft start, timing, etc. using the transmitter throttle stick. Instructions are included.
The 30-amp “Proton” ESC is by Exceed RC (Hobbywing)
The 40-amp Kontronic “JAZZ” programmable ESC with 2-amp BEC comes with Deans battery connector and 4mm bullet connectors included, in the original box with instructions. For 2-6 cell Lipo.
