Centerline Marker/Hinge Slot Tools FOR BALSA

This handy 3D-printed tool is specifically made for installing CA hinges in balsa edge stock.  Two functions - the tool helps mark a centerline in preparation for sanding bevels, then the slot guides the #11 knife blade to make perfectly centered CA hinge slots every time! Available in SIX sizes!   For small models or large ones.

We have 6 different tools, for different thicknesses of Trailing-Edge stock.  E and F are a little larger:

• Part A is for 3/32" balsa with an 8mm-wide blade slot

• Part B is for 1/8" balsa with an 8mm-wide blade slot

• Part C is for 3/16" balsa with a 1/2"-wide (13mm) blade slot

• Part D is for 1/4" balsa with a 1/2"-wide (13mm) blade slot

• Part E is for 3/8" balsa with a 1/2"-wide (13mm) blade slot

• Part F is for 1/2" balsa with a 1/2"-wide (13mm) blade slot

The tool simply slips over the edge of the balsa and the slot guides the knife blade for a perfectly centered cut.  Its quite easy to use.  Here's a 15-minute video showing how this tool is used along with our new Edge Shapers!

Size: 50x25x15mm (approx. 2x1x1/2 inch).    E and F are 60x30x15mm
