Rabid Models Hinge Slot Tool FOR BLUECORE FOAM (2 pcs)

This handy 3D-printed tool is specifically made to help you with installing CA hinges in the 6mm Bluecore foam that's used in Rabid Models aircraft kits.

The tool guides a fine-tip marker to mark the center of the foam, and then the tool guides a hobby knife to cut the hinge slot exactly where you want it with a "window" so you can see where to locate the cut.

TWO tools are included in this package!  Bluecore foam is not perfectly consistent in width, it can vary from 5.5 to 6.0mm. We made TWO tools (5.4mm and 5.9mm) so that you may use the one that fits best for the foam that you have. The tool can also be used for 6mm Depron or other foams.
