TYVEK® SHEETS for CA HINGES

Tyvek® material is really excellent material for making your own CA hinges. Just cut the hinge size you need using sharp scissors and install using thin CA glue.  Perfect for lightweight models!

Select from TWO kinds - we have small 6 1/4" x 3 1/8" sheets and a full 8.5" x 11" sheet.    I encourage you to add other items to your order, but this item is so light that if you purchase it all by itself I'll mail it in an envelope!

Material: Tyvek® is a registered trademark brand name by Dupont - this is a "flash spun microfiber" that is thin like paper, its not a woven material.  As such, it doesn't propagate cracks and is much more tear resistant than woven fabrics.  Its really handy for making a very strong hinge that won't rip.
